Four months ago, I had to step away from my blog.
This post marks my blog comeback after surgery and healing, a quiet return after time away.
I didn’t walk away from writing because I gave up.
I stepped away because health and healing demanded my full attention
There were surgeries to face.
Healing to focus on.
Moments that couldn’t be rushed.
And now—just four days after my most recent surgery—
I’m not claiming to be fully back.
But I’m here.
Opening the page.
Starting again.
This blog was born from a difficult chapter in my life—
life after stroke.
But it’s become more than a place to look back.
It’s become a way to move ahead.
Because every story deserves a second chapter.
Now, I’m exploring a new chapter.
This chapter allows me to guide others. I will support them and walk beside them.
They are navigating the healing I’ve lived through.
I’m not sure yet where it will lead.
I’m researching, hoping, and asking for help where I can.
But the wish is real.
And if the door opens, I’m ready to step through.
Because everything I’ve survived—
stroke, trauma, setbacks, slow healing—
has taught me this:
Healing is hard. But no one should have to do it alone.
So yes, I’ve been quiet.
But I haven’t stopped dreaming.
And I haven’t stopped believing
that the next chapter is the most meaningful one yet.
I’m back—softly, slowly, honestly.
More is coming.
But for today… this is enough.
Healing is hard. But no one should have to do it alone.
(And thankfully, many organizations like Stroke Recovery Foundation are out there offering hope and guidance.)
Because every story deserves a second chapter.
